Cathy Rosenbaum

Cathy Rosenbaum, age 69, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born on April 6, 1956, and will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the genuine love she shared with her family and friends. Cathy had a caring spirit and a way of making everyone feel welcome. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cathy worked at GE Aviation for over 28 years, where she took great pride in her work and truly loved both her job and the people she worked with. The friendships she formed there meant a great deal to her.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Rosenbaum; her son, Chad Braner; her daughter, Dawn (Bill) Frenser; her cherished grandchildren, Samantha Braner and Gavin Braner; her sister, Brenda Zarka; and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Robards; her mother, Barbara Robards; and her brother, John Robards.
Cathy loved camping and traveling and found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. She also adored her grand doggies, who brought her much happiness and comfort.
A funeral service will be held on January 31, 2026, at Grace Gospel Baptist Church, located at 5755 Fairview Drive, Carlisle, Ohio 45005. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following. Pastor Mike Worrell will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of Grace Gospel Baptist Church Car Show.
