Celeste Moon

Celeste Lynne Moon, 62, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Santa Rosa, California. Born on June 8, 1963, in Redwood City, California, Celeste lived a vibrant and creative life that touched many across the state she called home.

Celeste pursued her education at De Anza College in Cupertino from 1981 to 1983. Her time there reflected her lifelong passion for learning and self-expression. Over the years, she made homes in Carmel, Boulder Creek, and Rohnert Park, each place enriched by her presence and joyful spirit.

She was known for her loving and happy nature—qualities that shone through in every aspect of her life. Strong and brave with a sharp sense of humor, Celeste brought warmth and laughter to those around her. Her creativity found outlets in many forms: she had a deep love for gourmet cooking, often delighting others with her culinary talents; she found joy and grace on the ice as an avid ice skater; and she immersed herself in music and art with a passion that inspired those who knew her.

Celeste is lovingly remembered by her mother, Pamela Williams Muraca of Aiken, South Carolina; her uncle Warner Williams and aunt Melissa Julien, both of Oakland. She was preceded in death by her father Dr. Heath Moon of Los Angeles; her grandmother Kathryn Louise Williams; and grandfather Russell Emanual Williams, both of Carmel.

A private remembrance will be held by family at a later date.
