Charles Michael Cunningham age 84 passed into eternal rest on February 17, 2026. Born in New Haven on April 23, 1941 he was the son of the late Allis Spurvay Cunningham of New Haven Ct. and the late Charles Joseph Cunningham of New Jersey. He is survived by his wife Pamela Marchetti Cunningham and her granddaughter Marley Bachinski and also by his two sons from a previous marriage Michael J. (Brenda) Cunningham their daughter Nora and son Nathan of Lincoln R.I. and Kevin M. (Jacqueline) Cunningham and their son Christian of East Haven Ct. Mike was predeceased by his son Christian John Cunningham and his stepson Thomas Robert Bachinski both of East Haven. Mike graduated from James Hillhouse High School in 1959 and worked as a Grocery Manager for First National and Stop and Shop stores for many years. And later worked as parts Manager for Nizen Moter Parts of New Haven. Also was owner and manager of Signal Graphic Printing.
He served in the U.S. Army and the Reserves from 1963 to 1969.
Additional he was a life long practitioner of Shotokan Karate since 1960 right up until shortly before his passing and was Ranked as a 8th degree Black Belt (Hanshi) and he had instructed classes throughout the Greater New Haven Area for almost 50 years.
There will be no calling hours as he believed that it was a pretty sure bet that he, himself would have Little to say at his funeral. There will be a celebration of life get together later in April.
