Charles Hancock Vitali

1981 - 2026

Charlie Vitali, 45, of Milford NH, beloved husband and father, took his final breath at home with his wife by his side after a bravely fought three year battle with colon cancer on April 12, 2026.

Charlie was born February 12, 1981 in Winchester MA. He was raised in Nashua NH and eventually made his home in Milford NH. He found the love of his life and best friend when they were both 19, and they were married on July 4, 2003. Their life was defined by an unwavering devotion to each other throughout their 26 years together.

While he worked as a manager in the construction industry, he had a more fulfilling career volunteer coaching. For over 20 years, Charlie dedicated himself to Milford youth sports, volunteering his time, energy, and heart in every way possible. He recently celebrated 20 years of Milford youth football with the Milford Jr Spartans. To know him was (usually) to love him and all that he was: his larger than life personality, his sense of humor, and his enormous heart that he begrudgingly wore on his sleeve even when he didn't intend to all are testament to the incredible man he was. He'd never boast; the countless lives he impacted speak for themselves. His presence was substantial- he was either dancing or fighting every room he entered.

Charlie was as passionate as he was outspoken—sometimes speaking before thinking, often louder than necessary, especially when cheering on the kids he coached. His voice was big, and his heart even bigger. He coached every child as if they were his own- his belief always being to put the kids first. If you've had a conversation with Charlie or knew him in any capacity, you knew how completely he loved his wife and what each of his kids was currently accomplishing in their lives. He would be the first to tell you the only person he feared was his 5'2 wife. He'd also be the first to tell you she was usually right, and saw himself as her bodyguard and protector. A coach through and through, He could often be found yelling at the TV during football games, as he knew they could hear him coaching from the couch. He was incapable of sitting quietly on the sidelines for anyone's game. He believed that when he wanted his coffee, he should be the only person in line. He felt traffic was a set up of the world against him and if we'd all just drive a little faster the world would be a better place.

At home, he loved quietly and unconditionally with acts of service. Driving to his wife's work in snow storms to clean snow off her car, filling her gas tank, finding all of her misplaced items. He prided himself on being the fixer of everything, he could build anything at all, fix all the cars, sew a ripped dress, and bedazzle a graduation cap. Charlie took pride in being the one everyone could count on and protecting his family. He loved his kids loudly and unapologetically. He showed up over and over again wanting to make sure they knew his presence was there. He would defend them fiercely and without question. His presence was unmistakable, and his support unwavering.

He is survived by his wife Randee Vitali; his children, Teagan Vitali, Jazmine Vitali, Giavanna Vitali, Charlie Vitali Jr, and Tyrell Barss; and the many other children he and Randee acquired and welcomed into their home over the years. He also leaves behind his parents, Lorraine and Valerio Vitali, his siblings, Christine Latham, Marcella Vitali, and Angelo Vitali, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his older sister, Randie Khoroshev.

As his presence was enormous in any room, his absence will be the same.

Funeral services will be held on 05/02/2026.
Memorial service will be at 10am at the Bridge Community Church at 65 West Street in Milford NH, followed by a Celebration of Life at his home for friends and family from 3pm-630pm.
