Born on October 3, 1952, in Denison, Texas to Clara and Jack Masters, Charlotte was raised in California, where her early years were shaped before life's journey took her across the country.
In 1985, Charlotte married the love of her life, Douglas English, in Reno. Their marriage spanned four decades until Doug's passing in 2025. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter.
Charlotte spent much of her adult life in Ithaca, New York, where she found joy and community through bowling and golf with friends. Her love for these pastimes reflected her spirited nature and appreciation for camaraderie. Later chapters of her life brought her to Florence, Kentucky, and eventually to Texas, where she lived for the last twenty years or so. Some of her most cherished times were spent visiting with family at annual reunions.
Above all else, Charlotte had an abiding love for dogs—a passion that carried her through the end of her life and brought her great comfort and happiness.
She is remembered by her children: Jessica Woollard; Ryan Woollard; Jill Renda (Louis); Douglas English Jr. (Dario); Jennifer Coppage (Dan); and Sarah Hall; and grandchildren Hailey, Kaitlyn, Victoria, and Landon.
Charlotte's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
