Charlotte Blackwood Wray

Heaven just got a lot more fun. There is much laughter in heaven ,now that Charlotte is there. Charlotte Kay Blackwood Wray was born on March 21, 1943 to George Murrell Blackwood and Hilda Rebecca Eans Blackwood . She followed her brother Leslie and they were joined by a sister Judy and a brother Shelly. She loved the Lord and attended Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst,Texas.
Charlotte spent many years as an executive secretary and then was a successful sales person. She was married to Fred Wray and had three children, Kerri Smith, Janna Wray and Kevin Wray. Her greatest joy, though were her grandchildren, Jordan Smith, McKenna Smith, Kaden Wray, Holden Wray and Maddie McCloud. She said she would've had grandchildren first if she had known how much fun they were! She was always the fun mom and friends loved being at our house because of her. She always put her children first - before her wants and needs, more than we will ever know. She went to heaven on January 19, 2026. We will miss her but there is a lot of laughter in heaven now!
A celebration of life is planned for February 7, 2026 at Northside Community Center in Griffithville, Arkansas from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Charlotte can be made to Northside Community Center
