Cheryl Ann (Bickley) Caniff

Cheryl passed away at the age of 81 on December 1 at Stein Hospital of Sandusky OH after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Warren and Jane (Kerber) Bickley and was raised in Huron, OH . After graduating from Huron High School she graduated from the Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital Radiology Technician Program. She worked in several hospitals as a radiology technician including Providence Hospital, Sandusky and Highland Park Hospital in Illinois. She then moved to Newport, Rhode Island where she was a stay- at- home mother to her two children, Joshua and Jessica Caniff. After returning to the area she worked in the automotive industry for twenty-five years as a quality control technician for the Lear Corporation. She loved to dance and as a young girl mastered tap dancing. She loved to go to concerts and listening to her favorites artists, Rod Stewart, Andrea Bocelli and IL Divo. She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Jane and her beloved son, Joshua. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Jessica Caniff and her two grandchildren, Jack and Kate of Clyde Ohio, sister, Susan Gilliam of Dublin , Ohio and Brother, Dennis ( Nancy) Bickley of Huron, as well as three generations of nieces and nephews.There will be no public services. Expressions of condolence may be made to the Erie County Ohio Humane Society or Stein Hospice.
