Cheryl Mae Robbins

Cheryl Mae (Burke) Robbins, 78, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Crown Point Health Campus. Cheryl was born on April 5, 1947, in Gary, Indiana, to Louise Ann (Peterson) Vuko and Frank Ellis Burke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Ann (Peterson) Vuko and Frank Ellis Burke, and her stepfather, John A. Vuko. Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Camille (Bruno) Winicky and Mattie (Todd) Robbins; and her grandchildren, Lauren Winicky, Jacob Homoky, Hunter Winicky, Hannah Homoky, Hayden Homoky (Amaya), Ethan Winicky, and Addison Winicky. A private family service will be held to celebrate Cheryl's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
