Chris Holmes, 63, passed away on February 2, 2026, in East Palatka, Florida. Born on May 27, 1962, in Richmond, Virginia, Chris lived a life marked by independence, generosity, and a deep love for storytelling and machinery.

From an early age, Chris displayed a remarkable mechanical mind. He had a natural talent for understanding how things worked and spent countless hours working on cars, trucks, and engines. Whether it was tuning up an old pickup or rebuilding an engine from scratch, he found joy and purpose in the hum of machinery and the satisfaction of a job well done.
