Christie Woody

Christie Gail Woody passed away on March 2, 2025, in Chesterfield, Virginia. She was born on January 29, 1970, the only child of the late Emmett "John"Woody and Sandra Martin Woody.

A proud graduate of Meadowbrook High School's Class of 1988 in North Chesterfield, Christie went on to work as a teller at Truist Bank. Her deep faith was a guiding force in her life. She was enrolled in Healing University at Charis Bible College, studying under Donna Gattis and Andrew Wommack, and was an active member of Life Church in South Chesterfield, where she attended classes and small groups.

Christie found joy in worship music and cherished attending Christian concerts with friends. She had a special love for the beach and found peace in its beauty. Her beloved dog, Dexter—affectionately known as "Big D"—held a special place in her heart.

Known for her generous spirit and kind heart, Christie never hesitated to lend a listening ear or extend a helping hand. She touched many lives with her warmth and compassion and will be remembered for the time she gave so freely to others.

A celebration of Christie's life will be held at Life Church Academy, 1221 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, on January 31st at 2 p.m.

Christie will be deeply missed by those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace until we meet again.
