Christine Marie Harris

Christine Marie Harris,49 of Bloomfield NJ passed away at her home on September 2nd 2025.
Born on December 30th 1975 in Hackettstown New Jersey, Christine was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Patricia Quigley. She is pre deceased by two older sisters , Theresa Bailie, and Cecilia Boyle and a niece Heather Lord.

Christine graduated from Hackettstown high School in 1994 and pursued her passion for literature at Montclair State University earning a bachelor's degree in English in 2000. During her final semester she enriched her studies with time abroad in Ireland.
Christine began her professional career at Random House in New York City before discovering her calling in education. She went on to teach at St Mary's School in Hackettstown and later in the Randolph School district.
Her dedication to helping others led her to pursue a master's degree in counseling which she earned in 2005.
Throughout her career as a counselor Christine worked with several respected organizations including Care Plus NJ, St Clare's Hospital, and Atlantic Health system.
Alongside her professional work she continued to nurture students through tutoring and writing.
Christine found joy and inspiration in the outdoors and the arts she loved hiking scenic trails, traveling to new places, attending concerts and spending time at the beach. Her adventurous Spirit was matched by a warm smile and a sharp Irish with that left lasting impressions on those around her.
Above All Else Christine cherished being a mother to her two daughters Nico and Adeline Harris of Sparta. They were the light of her life and the center of her world.
She is lovingly remembered by six older sisters Mary Harden of Hackettstown Nj, Ann Sowers of Whitehall Pa, Margaret Bressette and her husband Clifford of Bethlehem Pa, Maureen Farrell and Patricia Hoffman both of Nazareth Pa, Joan Kearney and her husband Brian of Washington Nj, one older brother Thomas Quigley of Washington NJ.
and one brother in law James Boyle of Point Pleasant Nj.
Christine also leaves behind 19 nieces and nephews and a growing family of great nieces and great nephews.

Christine's memory will live on through all who knew and loved her. May it bring comfort to those she touched so deeply. We love you always Chrissy!
A funeral mass will be held on Friday October 10th at 10 am at The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary church 302 High St. Hackettstown Nj. Followed by an interment of ashes at Pequest Union cemetery, 36 cemetery road Great Meadows New Jersey.
Repast to follow at the knights of Columbus 142 Liberty Street Hackettstown Nj.
