Christine Louise Snyder, age 56, passed at home from cancer on January 25th, 2026. She was born in Endicott, NY to Thomas Parisot and H Charlene Goodwin (Baran).
She is survived by both parents, her children Antonina Cafaro and Lauren Snyder, her brothers Phillip Parisot (Carol), Daniel Parisot (Andrea), Benjamin Baran (Morgan), her sisters Amelia Baran and Holly Peck (Jon), as well as her grandson Haven and many nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Chenango Forks High School as part of the class of '87 and went on to attend Valley Forge Christian Academy. She then had a lengthy career as a DOT compliance safety coordinator, most memorably at Bay Ltd. in Corpus Christi, TX. During her time in Texas, she most enjoyed participating in autocross events driving her Chevy Camaro.
A celebration of life will be held in her memory at CalTab (729 Main St) in Vestal, NY on February 5th at 11:00am. Any flowers may be sent directly to the church. Alternatively a donation may be made in her honor to the United Yorkie Rescue, an organization deeply loved by Christine.
