Christopher J Tilling

Christopher J Tilling, 42 of Downingtown passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday January 6, 2026, at his home.
Born on June 11, 1983, in Downingtown, Chris was the beloved son of Andrew and Judith Tilling of Downingtown, loving father to James M Tilling, brother of Evan and Allison Tilling and loyal devoted husband of MaryBeth Deyenno.
Chris grew up in Downingtown and was a proud graduate of Downingtown High School and CAT Brandywine. For the last several years he has worked at SSH and truly loved his job and just received a promotion. He will forever be remembered for his magnetic personality and his ability to light up any room he entered. Selflessly he helped others, with a huge heart and a love that ran deep- sometimes to a fault. He cherished the outdoors, power sports, Ford Mustang enthusiast, a die-hard Philadelphia fan, military history and spending time with his dog Cooper. Above all, his greatest joy was his son, Jimmy-Mac.
Chris is survived by his parents, Judith and Andrew Tilling, son James Tilling, Siblings Evan (wife Jill) Tilling, Allison (husband Michael) Epright, his nieces and nephews: Gavin, Rylin, Gage, Maddox Tilling, Adelyn and Jackson Epright, spouse MaryBeth Deyenno as well as many aunts' uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his faithful dog Max, who was his best friend and both maternal and paternal Grandparents.
Services will be held at St. Elizabeth's Church located at 110 Saint Elizabeth Dr. in Chester Springs on Monday January 19, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:45am and memorial services will begin at 11am.
