Christopher Bradford Irvin, 53, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2025. Christopher was a cherished son, brother, uncle, loving partner, nephew, loyal friend, and a valued member of the community.
Christopher was born on March 10, 1972, in Hyannis, MA, the beloved son of Donald B. Irvin and Marsha (Wells) Irvin.
In 1978 his family moved to Alton, NH, where he spent his youth, attended Alton Central School (K -12), cultivated a love for basketball, met Noelle Strong in middle school - becoming life-long partners - and graduated in 1990.
Christopher attended U-Mass Lowell, receiving a degree in Criminal Justice, then attended New England Law - Boston. His proudest moment was when he took the oath as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association at Faneuil Hall.
After working in the city for years, he relocated to the warmer south with Noelle, appreciating South Carolina sunsets (or, as he would say, "savoring the golden hour "), dining alfresco with a good glass of wine, playing with his buddy Spud, epic backgammon tournaments, and weekend getaways. Spending quality time with his loved ones at family gatherings and holidays were all very special for Chris. He loved to travel and dreamed of retiring to Florence, Italy.
Christopher was predeceased by his father in 2018, as well as both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Christopher's loving memory will remain forever close to the hearts of those who survive him. His soulmate and life partner Noelle Strong, as well as her siblings; his mother Marsha (Wells) Irvin; his brother Jeffrey Irvin and his sister Rachel (Irvin) Fisher, brother-in-law Randall Fisher and his nephews Braden and Gavin Fisher; countless family members, and friends.
Christopher's spirit and love will forever endure, guiding and inspiring those who will miss his presence. May his memory be a lasting blessing, and may we continue to honor him by living with the kindness, grace, and generosity that defined him.
A Celebration of Christopher's life will be held this summer, with details to be shared at a later date.
