Christopher Allen Peetz

Christopher Allen Peetz of Livonia and Lewiston, Michigan tragically and unexpectedly passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 60. He leaves behind his devoted wife Sharon, loving children Jacob (Alyssa) and Emma (Dylan), siblings Steven (Sandy), Warren (Laura), Darlene (Pat) and Kenneth (Kelly), many in-laws, as well as numerous nieces and nephews by whom he was treasured as the fun uncle.

He is preceded in death by his parents Warren Peetz and Sophie Perkins; siblings Paul (Victoria) and Michael (Linda).

Chris was a devoted family man, a handyman who excelled at building things, and a master barbequer. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures – a cold beer, sitting around a bonfire, the company of his beloved dogs. A true people person, he had a knack for conversation and was quick to do a favor for anyone who asked. A hardworking employee of UPS, it was his dream to move to his property in northern Michigan to enjoy a peaceful retirement with his wife at his side.

Anyone who knew Chris had their life enriched. His absence is felt profoundly by his family, amongst friends, and along his delivery route.
