Christopher "Chris" Rudolph, passed away on December 20, 2025 at the age of 53, Chris tried to live his life to the fullest. He was dedicated and a hard worker for his family. Always doing his best, working long hours and being committed to making sure his family and friends were taken care of. He was the kind of family man and friend that would drop everything to come and help. Who told bad jokes but had amazing stories.
One of Chris' favorite hobbies was restoring an old farm tractor. In his spare time, he took the time to repair an old international harvester along with his sons. Once he got it refurbished, he took his granddaughter on rides and would drive it to his cousins farm to help out during harvest seasons. He was mechanically savvy on cars, trucks, semis, etc. Anything with wheels he was willing to take on the challenge to tinker or repair it. A bit later in life he especially loved "scraping," a new favorite pastime that blended resourcefulness with a bit of fun. He would come home with the wildest things and was know to the neighbors as the "Scrap Man."
Chris shared a devoted marriage with his wife Patti. Together they built a wonderful life and home. He was a proud father to Morgan; Dakota (Allison); Josiah (Kaitlyn); and Christian, his honorary "son". His greatest joy came from becoming a grandpa to Georgia and Thomas.
He is also remembered with love by his father Ralph; sister Michelle (Paul) Thoma and nieces Ariana and Ava; as well as many cherished aunties, uncles, cousins and other honorary "children". He held close the memories of his late mother Lois Rudolph; best friend Joe Cornwall; grandparents, uncles, aunties, cousins and friends, who preceded him in death. Keeping them alive in his thoughts and stories he would share to others.
Chris' foundation and faith in the Lord grew stronger as he aged. Accepting Christ as his personal Lord and Savior 25 years ago and committed to try his hardest to follow the Lord in every decision he made. A couple months before his passing he even made the decision to get baptized as a way to publicly show his love for Christ. Even as his time came near, he felt peace in knowing he was going to see Jesus and his loved ones waiting for him.
Visitation will be held on January 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bridge Church, 1314 S Grand Ave., followed by a service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A light luncheon will follow in the church café. All are welcome.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
