Cindy Collins, 63, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in San Francisco, California on November 28, 1961 to Charles Leroy Chase and Isabel Francis Madden Chase.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree at Portland State University that she utilized to work her way into a management position at Nike. The remainder of her career was spent at Percipio Consulting, where she retired in 2025. As a leader for Nike, she fostered camaraderie, and built lasting work relationships that became friendships beyond Nike.
Cindy’s work for Nike also enabled her to pursue her love for travel. Throughout her life she was able to explore all over the United States, Mexico, Europe, and Asia. Her passion for exploring other cultures was infectious, and she taught her children that vacation was meant for doing not relaxing.
Though Nike played an important role in shaping her career, Cindy was especially grateful for the compassion, respect, and support she received from Percipio Consulting throughout the later years of her career until her retirement.
Of all of her accomplishments, Cindy was most proud of her two children, twins Tia and Tyler, and poured her time into creating a loving household where adventure shaped their childhood. They continue to honor her legacy by traveling the world and attempting tireless, day-long explorations the way she taught them.
She is survived by her children Tia Collins and Tyler Collins; siblings Beth Chase, Jeffery Chase, Kenneth Chase, Wendy Folsom, Amy Chase; stepbrother Nathan Chase; half-brother Mick Chase; nephews and nieces Amber Thomas, Jeremy Fishbaugh, Brandon Helvik, Steven Helvik, Kenneth Chase Jr, Michael Chase, Jonathan Chase, LaTasha Chase, Matthew Chase, Joshua Nellis, Kevin Nellis, Natasha Nellis, and Timothy Nellis.
