Claude Edward "Ed" Elledge Jr., age 75, passed away on January 3, 2026, in South Lyon, Michigan. Born on April 1, 1950, in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Ed lived a life marked by love for his family, a strong work ethic and an appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
Ed pursued his education at the University of Central Florida before embarking on a career that spanned four decades with Red Lobster Restaurants. His commitment, professionalism and mentorship left a lasting impression on his colleagues throughout the years.
He took great pride in and loved his children: Brett (Heather) Elledge, Kimberly Elledge, Chad (Natali) Elledge, and Courtney (Matt) Andersen. Ed found joy in his grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jackson, Ashton, Dylan, Riley, and Colin.
Ed also maintained ties with extended family. He is remembered by his sister Cindy (Ken) Morgan, nephew Chris and great niece Cali. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Davis, and stepfather, Woody Davis.
Outside of work and family life, Ed was an avid golfer and hunter who found joy in the outdoors. He loved music and surfing in the Ocean. Ed also had a deep appreciation for Detroit's fine dining scene and its vibrant sports culture.
Ed’s Children ask for privacy at this time. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire love and laughter for everyone.
