Cleveland Dunn Sr of Gary, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2026. Cleveland was born on November 15, 1949 in Charleston, Mississippi to William and Willie Dunn. He later made his home Gary, Indiana. Cleveland worked at Inland Steel for 30+ years as a diesel mechanic, and later retired in 2005. He was proceeded in death by his father William Dunn; mother Willie Dunn, Wife, Daisy Dunn; sisters, Katie Langley and Leola Reed; two brothers, William Dunn Jr and Stranger Lee Dunn Sr, three brother in laws Richard Govan, Willie James Garner, Nixon Galliday and Willie James Govan. His memory will be cherished by, one brother Henry (Sandra) Dunn, two sisters Hessie (JF) Mitchell and Dorothy Dunn; three sister in laws Cynthia Dunn, Diana Hughes, and Stephanie Govan; two brother in laws Tommie Garner and Preston Govan ; two daughters, Tara Dunn and Lasonya (Malcolm) Dunn, one son Cleveland (Roshaunda) Dunn Jr., one bonus son Antoine Galliday, thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two God daughters Keischa Mayes and Mahogany Wendy Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Funeral Service will be at McDuffie Funeral and Cremation Services 1525 Broadway Gary, IN on Friday, April 10, 2026. Viewing 9:00AM -11:00AM and funeral immediately following at 11:00AM.
