Coleen McGinnis

Coleen Grace McGinnis, 62, of Huntingdon, PA, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026. Our beloved sister, Coleen, lived a life marked by fortitude, kindness, and an unwavering love for those she cared about.

Coleen was predeceased by her parents, Malcolm McGinnis and Phyllis Buzzanell; her life partner, Chip Coffman; and her brothers, Henry McGinnis and Malcolm Daniel McGinnis. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving family: her brothers Mark (Emy) McGinnis and James (Emilie) McGinnis; her sister Mary (Luther) Coleman; and her sisters-in-law Theresa McGinnis and Cynthia Frank. She also leaves behind ten nieces and nephews—Erin, Matthew, Kimberly, Kathleen, Joseph, Christopher, Andrew, Jeremiah, David, and Rachel—as well as eleven great-nieces and great-nephews.

Coleen found joy in crocheting and embroidery, creating beautiful handmade pieces that will be treasured for years to come. Her creative talents were matched only by her generous heart. Coleen's resilience and willingness to help made a lasting impact on family, friends, and all who knew her. She was always ready to share a story over a hot cup of coffee!

A Mass for Coleen will be held on March 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 524 Mifflin Street, Huntingdon, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to be donated to a Soup Kitchen or www.hometownhearts.net, a Food Bank partner of Huntingdon, PA
