Connor Lee Walchle

1997 - 2025

Connor Lee Walchle was born on March 25, 1997 in Cincinnati, OH. He was the cherished son of Matt and Shelley Walchle, of Angola, IN, and the fiancé of Olivia Rosado, of Summerville, SC.
Always remembered by his contagious smile, Connor brought joy to those who had the privilege to know him. His family, friends and colleagues are better people for having known him. He will be remembered for the way his life was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A graduate of St. Xavier High School, Class of 2016, Connor was excelling in life in a promising insurance career and had been recently engaged and planning a wedding for this year. Connor and Liv were creating their life together in Summerville, South Carolina where they worked and lived with their three precious cats Sasquatch, Cricket, and Gremlin.
Connor's favorite pastime and passion was for cars both vintage and new. He enjoyed being a part of local car groups like Cars and Coffee in Cincinnati where he made many friends. He studied and admired unique automobiles. He loved driving his Volkswagen Golf GTI, adding his own modifications along the way, and watching Formula 1, rooting on his favorite team, McLaren.
Shared with his fiancé, Connor loved music and together they attended a variety of memorable concerts including some of his favorite bands and a variety of EDM. Being on the water was another love of Connor's, whether it was at Crooked Lake wakeboarding with his sister and cousins or fishing off the coast of Charleston, SC with his future father-in-law and fishing buddy, Ken Rosado, who saw him as the son he never had. He embraced opportunities to enjoy life with the people he loved.
With a keen sense of humor mixed with a little bit of mischief, Connor was always a welcome addition to any gathering. The memory of his smile, freely shared with others, will never be forgotten. His family, fiancé and friends are cherishing all their memories of time together at lacrosse games, family traditions and celebrations, concerts, car shows, playing video games, and time at Crooked Lake. The memory of his smile, freely shared with others, will never be forgotten.
Most of all, Connor will be remembered for the devotion he had to his fiancé and his family, showing special love and concern for his grandparents, Richard and Janet Strittholt and Carolyn Walchle. He was survived by his grandfather, David Walchle. He will also be greatly missed by his brother, Jason Walchle and his fiancé, Casey Hawley (Chicago, IL), and his sister, Brynna Walchle (Grand Junction, CO).
