Constance “Connie” Betz, 78, passed away surrounded by her family on January 13, 2026 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Born on October 9, 1947, Connie spent the majority of her life in Northwest Indiana before settling in Manitowoc. A devout Christian, her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She was devoted to her family and exceptionally proud of each generation that followed her.
Nursing was more than a career for Connie—it was her passion. She dedicated herself to wellness and prevention, touching countless lives through her compassionate care and commitment to health education.
Connie’s adventurous spirit shone through in her love of downhill skiing and riding her Harley. She also cherished time spent with family and was an active member of Toastmasters International, where she honed her communication skills and shared her voice with confidence.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Lara (Chris) DeGrane, Eric (Jenny) Lagerstrom, and Jennifer Farris; grandchildren: Breanna (Edgar) Quintanilla, Madyson Pennino, Alexander (Minji) Lagerstrom, Ean (Gina) Lagerstrom, Andrea Lagerstrom, Allen Lagerstrom, Brittany Farris, and Alysson Farris; and great-grandchildren: Felix, Destiny, Fletcher, Scout, and Juniper.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Betz and her brother Scott Woelfer Sr.
Though no services are planned at this time, those wishing to honor Connie’s memory may consider donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—two causes close to her and her family’s hearts.
Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the many lives she touched through her work and friendship. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
