Corinne Elise MacPartland

Corinne Elise MacPartland, 63, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on October 23, 2024. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Leonard Calligaro and Karen Bakkom. Corinne brought warmth, creativity, and determination to everyone who knew her.

A longtime resident of Wichita, Corinne built a life rooted in hard work, joy and adventure. She owned and operated Wichita Upholstery and Flamingo Sno Shaved Ice, both reflections of her talent, independence, and love of creating things that brought others comfort and happiness. It brought her great joy watching children's eyes light up as she served them a shaved ice.

Corinne had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for traveling—especially to the ocean, where she found peace and inspiration. Cruises and seaside getaways were among her greatest joys, and she cherished the memories made exploring the world with friends and loved ones.

Above all, Corinne was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter Brianne Eastep, son-in-law Lance Eastep, and cherished grandson Waylon Eastep, who was the light of her life.

Her compassion extended to all living things, especially animals. Corinne had a tender heart for creatures big and small and shared a special bond with her loyal dog, Tillie, who was her constant companion.

Corinne's life was a beautiful blend of courage, creativity, determination and compassion. She will be remembered for her laughter, her adventurous heart, and the love she poured into her family, friends and community.
