1954 - 2025

Craig Dean Russell, 71, passed away on December 8, 2025, in Boise, Idaho. Born on November 21, 1954, in Corona, California, Craig lived a life rooted in faith, family, and a love for the outdoors.

Craig devoted his career to the construction industry, where his skill and strong work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond the buildings he helped create, Craig was known for building lasting connections through his generosity and willingness to help others.

A man of steadfast Christian faith, Craig centered his life around Christ and read his Bible regularly. His devotion shaped his values and guided him in both personal and professional spheres. He found deep joy in time spent with loved ones and embraced the simple pleasures of family life.

Craig is survived by his wife, Lynn Russell; his daughter Lahnie Craw and her husband Caleb Craw; his grandsons Cash and Chord; and his stepson Kyle Appley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Kelley, and sister, Deanna Burnath.

He especially enjoyed watching his grandsons play football and remained an enthusiastic fan of the sport throughout his life. Craig also had a special bond with his Standard Poodles and was affectionately known as "the Poodle Pop" by those close to him.

An avid outdoorsman, Craig found renewal in nature's beauty. Whether four-wheeling rugged trails, surfing along the Pacific coast, RV camping across scenic landscapes, or fishing in tranquil waters, he embraced every adventure with spirit and joy.

May the memory of Craig Dean Russell bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life lived with faith, kindness, and heart.
