Curtis Lee Carr, 54, of Brentwood, CA, passed away on January 12, 2026.
Curt was born January 16, 1971 in San Jose, CA.
Curt married Elizabeth "Liz" Partin Carr on June 22, 2011 in Hawaii. They have a daughter Kristen; and Curt has another daughter Megan. At 16 years old Curt and Liz met while working at McDonald's in South San Francisco. After dating for a year they lost touch. Almost 15 years later Liz was working at the UA Local 38 Trust Fund dept., when she received a call that got Curt to call Liz again.
Curt was a Journeyman Steamfitter out of UA Local 38 in San Francisco for 20 years in August 2026. Throughout his career he climbed the ladder from apprentice to foreman. A chunk of his career he worked for Acco Engineered Systems and his last company was Therma. Previously he was a member of the retail clerks Union for many years. He worked for companies Safeway, Lucky, Pace, Food4Less.
At a young age Curt discovered fishing which he was very good at, and the San Francisco 49ers and became an instant fan. He also loved the San Francisco Giants. Outside of sports he loved flying his drones and editing videos, and spending time with family.
Remaining to cherish Curt's memory are wife, Liz; daughters, Megan (27) Kristen (11); Mother; Bonnie; Stepfather; Steven; Chosen family member; Donna; Siblings; Steve; Christine; Brian; Stephanie; nieces and nephews, Zachary; Sebastian; Arabella, KJ
Also remembering Curt is extended family; Aunts Renee, Marge, & Joan, cousin Therese, cousin RJ; Brother in Laws: Rich, Glen, Gary, MIL Sharon and partner Ron. And many many family & friends throughout the years.
