Cynthia Paula Parker

Cynthia Paula Peńalosa Parker was born on June 18, 1953 at Batangas City, Philippines.

Her father was Celedonio Peñalosa and her mother was Nestora Peñalosa.

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Parker, and children - Zenon, Katriz, Karina, Lindsey and spouses, Michael, Brad, Mega and her precious grandchildren - Mikaela, Zachary, Sushi, Maomao and Luna.

She has 4 sisters - Consuelo, Tess, Meda and Estela and 1 brother - Odong, preceded her in death.

Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science in Fisheries in 1975 from the University of the Philippines.

She was a Marine Biologist and worked for many years at the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in the Philippines. She moved to the United States in 2004 to marry Robert. She became a Naturalized Citizen October 5, 2010.

She worked for Underwriters Laboratories LLC until retirement. She was a dedicated member of her church in the Philippines. For many many years, she was the overhead projector operator during Sunday services.

Cynthia loved attending worship services at Mannahouse Church in Vancouver, Washington. She was an active and beloved member of her small group.

She was a prayerful and faithful woman who believed in the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. A loving wife, a caring and selfless mother, and a doting grandmother. She loved to sing, dance and her favorite food ever was tortang talong made by her mother. She loved traveling with husband Bob.

Cynthia, 72 years old, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family November 13, 2025.
