Dale William Burreson was born February 14,1964 in San Franscisco, California and passed away of natural causes to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 27,2025 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 61. Dale was preceded in death by his father John Alfred Norman Burreson and stepfather Carl Hartford. He is survived by his daughter Margeaux Rabbage, his mother Sandy Hartford, brothers David Burreson and Douglas Burreson, lifelong friend Tory Grayson, close friend Justin Thompson, and many others.
Dale grew up within a friendly neighborhood in Shoreline, WA. He graduated from Shorecrest High School in 1982 where he excelled on the school league champion wrestling team. As a teen, Dale was an expert at slalom water-skiing and in fact had purchased a custom slalom ski belt. Dale enjoyed building radio-controlled planes and boats. After high school, Dale took a job as a mechanical drafter, and he spent some time at Shoreline Community College. Dale also had a beautiful singing voice, and he pursued his dream back east in Boston and Nashville. He took professional vocal lessons from a respected maestro, and he would often talk about the well-known musicians he met during this time.
Dale grew up in Shoreline Community Church. One Sunday morning during service, while the senior pastor was preaching, Dale stood up, interrupted the sermon, and walked to the pulpit. The pastor invited him to speak, and Dale made a public profession of faith. With his vocal training and faith, he served many years as a Worship Leader and on music worship teams with many Puget Sound area churches.
While in Washington, Dale made a living as sole proprietor of Seattle Fine Finish. He was extremely talented and did beautiful work for cliental across the Puget Sound region. Dale was a gifted artisan specializing in refinishing doors and a skilled craftsman and handyman who excelled at all things having to do with home maintenance, repair, and finishing.
Dale was a man of strong faith and convictions and widely spoke of his beliefs. He spoke passionately of his faith in the Lord to everyone at all times.
Dale loved the outdoors and spent much time camping and hiking. He enjoyed the trails of the Cascade Mountains of Washington State as well as the desert and hills around Superstition Mountain in Arizona. Dale joined his brothers in outdoor fishing and hiking all over Washington state; Dale and his brother David also went well beyond the tourist areas of Yellowstone, hiking and exploring miles beyond trailheads into bear country.
In 2022 Dale moved to Apache Junction, Arizona to live with and care for his mother. stepfather, and their dog Mitsie. He became known in the community, walking the streets and greeting people often. During this time he became an expert at day trading. He studied and wrote his own methods and trading algorithms. He was an avid hiker and enjoyed exploring the many trails around the Superstition Mountains.
A memorial will be planned for the spring of 2026 in the state of Washington.
