Moving to Lake Tahoe, California, she met her husband, Dave Miller, a charismatic entrepreneur who owned the Monte Carlo casino in North Lake Tahoe. Their meeting marked the beginning of a remarkable partnership both in life and business.
Danice and Dave were married for 40 years until his passing in 2001. Together, they built a life filled with ambition and success. The couple ventured into the restaurant industry in New York City, where they owned and operated several establishments, including the renowned Italian Pavilion. Their ventures reflected their shared passion for hospitality and fine dining. Summers were spent enjoying the charm of West Hampton, New York, while winters brought them to the warmth of Sarasota and North Palm Beach, Florida.
Danice was known for her impeccable sense of style and commanding presence. When she entered a room, all eyes turned to her—a testament to her elegance and confidence. She found joy in gardening, traveling, entertaining guests, and spending time with friends & family.
She is survived by her brother Dennis Jones and her niece Tiffany Jones. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dave Miller, stepson Richard Miller, mother Claudia Jones, and father Daniel F. Jones.
