Daniel Stephen Golda, age 82, passed away peacefully. A devoted father, grandfather, veteran, and teacher, Daniel lived a life rooted in service, learning, and love.

Born and raised in both Rhode Island & Massachusetts, Daniel dedicated the majority of his life to educating young minds in New Bedford, MA. His passion for teaching and his genuine care for his students made a lasting impact on countless families and the community he served.

Before beginning his career in education, Daniel honorably served in the United States Air Force. His time in the military shaped his sense of duty, discipline, and integrity, values he carried throughout his entire life.

In retirement, Daniel moved to Rotonda West, Florida, where he enjoyed a quieter, warmer life surrounded by sunshine and new friendships. Even as his health changed, his fierce spirit and warm heart remained.

Daniel is survived by his beloved son, Daniel Golda, his daughter-in-law, Haley Golda, and his cherished grandchildren: Cameron, Madison, and Logan Golda, who brought endless joy and pride to his later years.

He is also survived by his brother, Stephen P Golda, and his sister, Mary Anne Golda.
In addition, Daniel leaves behind his daughter, Donna Cherry, and her children, Luke and Emily.

Daniel will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, and his unwavering love for his family. His memory will continue to be felt deeply and lovingly by all who knew him.

The family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and hopes his legacy of compassion and dedication will continue to inspire others.

His services will be at St Anthony of Padua Parish in New Bedford MA, more information will be updated here at a later date.
