Daniel H. Krombolz, 93, of Audubon, PA passed away Friday, March 20, 2026.



He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on January 22, 1933, the son of the late Ernest Samuel and the late Mabel (Harris) Krombolz.

Daniel has been living at Shannondell for the last 5 years, formerly of Phoenixville and Strafford, Pa where he raised his family.

He served in the US Navy and flew T-28 airplanes which he loved.



For over 60 years Dan was an owner of Independent Insurance Agencies, along with his son. At 86 he finally retired and sold Krombolz-Sheets Inc.



Daniel enjoyed playing tennis, driving sports cars, he was a voracious reader and he loved spending time with his family especially his wife. Dan took great interest in people and had a unique charm which made those he spoke with enjoy themselves and remember him.



He was the husband of Lois ( Schroedel) Krombolz for 71+ years. His marriage thrived on love, encouragement, family, friendships and a lot of laughs.



Survivors include Wife Lois Krombolz of Audubon, Son Phillip (Rochelle) Krombolz of Malvern, Daughter Reed (Patrick) McCann of Audubon, also survived by his grandchildren Sage (Phil), Aidan, Sean and Julia, and a great grandson Jasper.



Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Ernest, Mildred and Mabel.



A celebration of his life will take place on a date yet to be determined.



Interment will be private
