Danielle Bain "Dani" Burr, age 44, originally of Southbury, CT passed away December 7, 2025 at Saint Mary's Hospital after a life long struggle with addiction. Danielle was born in 1980 to Bradley "Brad" Franklin Burr and Beverly (Bain) Burr in Danbury, CT.

Danielle is predeceased by her father Brad, who she loved dearly. She is survived by her mother Beverly and her partner David Rinaldi; her brother Justin Burr, his partner Amy and their son Jacob; her Aunt Debra "Deb" Bain, with whom she had a special lifelong bond, and her husband Davin Lindy; her uncle James Bain, Jr. and his partner Jennifer; her Aunt Barbara Norman and her two cousins, Heather and Amy.

Danielle was a graduate of Pomperaug High School. She was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed fishing, all things pink and butterflies. Her personality was both playful and fierce. Throughout her career she worked in both the healthcare and service industries and was well-regarded for her work ethic. Notably, Danielle's final gift of organ donation helped a number of people waiting for life saving organ transplants.

The family will have a private memorial, but would suggest donations be made in Danielle's honor to a charity of your choice or one benefitting people struggling with addiction or those aiding with the gift of organ donation.

This song was a favorite of Deb and Danielle and the lyrics ring true and capture Danielle's struggles.
"Some things I earn, some things I steal
There's an angel on my shoulder, but the devils got the wheel
I toe the line, but then I fall cuz' heaven knows I like the taste of danger most of all."
"Taste of Danger" by Jonatha Brooke (The Works, 2008, Bad Dog Records)
