Danielle Nicole "Danno" Martin, 36, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away on April 8, 2026, at her maternal grandmother's home.

Born on November 10, 1989, in St. Charles, Illinois, Danielle was the beloved daughter of Kristine (Phanenbecker) Martin and Dennis Martin.

Danielle had a passion for sports and creativity. She enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball and had a remarkable talent for storytelling. Her vivid imagination brought everyday events to life through her writing, crafting stories that ranged from humorous to darkly intriguing, always filled with rich imagery.

Her family cherishes the memories of time spent together at barbecues, picnics, camping trips, and other gatherings. Danielle's unique perspective on life often sparked lively discussions that added color to their shared experiences.

She is survived by her father Dennis Martin; her sister Susan Smith; her grandmother Bonnie Mischler; her fiancé Rick Wish; her uncle Jeff Martin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and one nephew. Danielle was preceded in death by her mother Kristine Martin, her sister Cindy VerVynck, and her grandfather Jim Mischler.
