Danuta Maria Borusowska passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in Buffalo, New York. She was born on May 14, 1940, in Stanislawow, Poland and lived a life marked by resilience, intellect, and deep devotion to her family.
Danuta pursued higher education with determination and excellence, earning a Master's Degree in Engineering from the Silesian University of Technology. Her academic achievements reflected her sharp mind, discipline, and unwavering commitment to personal growth.
She was the dearest mother of Andrzej (Renata), and her love extended warmly to her grandchildren Tina (Joseph) and Nathaniel. She took great pride in being a great-grandmother to Ryder Tenn. Her family was the heart of her world, and she nurtured those bonds with care and affection.
Danuta also shared a close relationship with her brother Boleslaw (Miroslawa), and remained connected to her extended family through her nephews Pawel (Malgorzata) and Wojciech as well as their children.
Beyond her professional accomplishments and family life, Danuta found joy in traveling—exploring new places with curiosity and enthusiasm. She was an active member of the Chopin Singing Society, where she found camaraderie and fulfillment through music. Her involvement in this cherished group reflected her cultural pride and love for the arts.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends who were touched by her kindness, strength, and vibrant spirit. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
A Wake will be held on January 9, 2026, from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Kazmierczak Funeral Home 3640 Clinton St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on January 10, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church 1350 Indian Church Rd in West Seneca, NY.
