Darlene Brehm

Darlene (Specht) Brehm was born in Detroit Michigan, lived in Ohio as a young child and her parents then moved the family to Fullerton, CA. where she grew up and attended Sunny Hills High School. In 1990 she then moved to White Bear Lake, MN. with her husband and one of her two daughters.
On February 24th she peacefully went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Lowell Brehm.
Darlene is survived by three of her four siblings, her two daughters, Michelle Hyde (Rick) and Marsha Kimes, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Darlene was a barber for 50 years, cutting hair in California and Minnesota. Clients to her were more than that, they were friends and would often bring kids and grandkids to her for their first haircuts which she loved.
Darlene also had many friends across the US that were near and dear to her heart. Mom liked to share the education that she knew about anything to anyone and that often sparked true friendships that lasted years long.
Darlene had many hobbies from singing in a band as a young adult, wood working, sewing, research, photography, home improvement and many more.
Darlene always decorated her house for Halloween and her home became known for the haunted vibe on Halloween night, seeing generations come by over the years of living in White Bear Lake.
Darlene also made her house a home with her boutique shop way of decorating. Many people said that they wanted to shop her house when they came over. Darlene was a treasure hunter of thrift stores and garage sales, always looking for that bargain on something awesome.
Live Laugh Love and always be Fabulous was her in a nutshell. Darlene's friendship will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 25, 2026, from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM at American Legion #168 in White Bear Lake 2210 3rd, White Beal Lake, MN 55110
