Darlene Wray

Darlene (McKee) Wray, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 12, 2026.

Darlene was born November 9, 1955 in Youngstown, Ohio to William H. McKee and Hazel Elizabeth (Singer) McKee. She grew up in Hubbard, Ohio but had lived in Kissimmee, Florida for the past 43 years.

Darlene was employed by Martin Marietta and ended her career with MedSpeed Billing after 17 years.

Her proudest role was that of loving wife, mother and Memaw. On May 30, 1973 she married the love of her life Kenneth Paul Wray Jr. and they remained married for 48 years until Ken’s death in August of 2021. Their union produced 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

Darlene is lovingly remembered by her children, Kenneth Paul Wray III (Maria), Vanessa Dawn Polsdorf (fiancée Ken) and Nicholas Homer Wray (Colleen) and her grandchildren, Miles Wray, Kylie Wray, Eirinn Wray, Connor Polsdorf, Lution Wray, Nicholas Wray Jr., Patrick Wray, and Raymond Wray. She is survived by her brothers and sisters Connie Lonsberry, Gigi (Van) Hooker, her identical twin Marlene DeFilippo, Vickie (Ken) McKee, Debbie (Mark) Smith, Betty (Bill) Smith, Tammie McKee, Lon Mckee and Rick (Ann) Klingensmith.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Ken, sisters Carol and Virginia, and brothers Billy and Ron.

Darlene requested no services.

Butterflies were Darlene’s favorite thing so anytime you see one flying by, know that it’s her coming to say hello.
