Darold Cutright, Jr. (63), of Warren, Ohio, passed away peacefully with family on January 1, 2026 in Cape Coral, Florida. He was born on August 7, 1962.
Darold was a 20 year Navy Veteran, government civil servant, an active fisherman, an Ohio State Buckeye alum, and father of three.
Darold was known for being a mentor, a friend, and a confidant when need be. He was someone that when he spoke, you listened to him. He was the energy in the room. You could always depend on him if you needed to talk. He'd prefer to talk about Buckeye football, but if you rang his cell at 4am, he'd listen while he drank his black coffee. He was larger than life and lived the same way.
Gone far too soon, Darold is survived by his mother, Judith Prokop, sister, Kathy de Laat (Marc), nephew, Christian, 32, and three children: Ginelle Bullinger, 43, (Brandon, 44), Eric Cutright, 42, and Kyle Cutright, 25. He is survived by 5 grandchildren: Nicolas Cutright, 18, Micah Bullinger, 15, Nathan Cutright, 14, Virginia Bullinger, 12, and Henry Cutright, 5 months old.
