Daryl E. Lowery

1952 - 2025

In remembrance of Daryl E. Lowery - December 3, 1952 – December 6, 2025, a father, Papa, husband, son, musician, and friend whose presence was deeply felt and whose music will long echo in the hearts of those who knew him.

Daryl was born on December 3, 1952, the son of Barbara and Robert Lowery. From an early age, music called to him. What began in high school—joining his first band and discovering the joy of playing—grew into a lifelong passion. Over the years, Daryl shared his talent with several local bands, becoming a familiar and respected presence in the local music scene. Music was more than a hobby; it was how he expressed himself and connected with others.

He is survived by his wife, Diantha Duckworth Stensrud, whose love, loyalty, and steady presence were central to his life and a source of great strength to him; his daughter, Shanna Greer, whom he loved deeply and was endlessly proud of; and his grandchildren, Cody Greer, Grace Greer, and Faith Greer, who brought him immense joy and were truly cherished by him. He is also survived by his brother, David Lowery, and his sister, Karen Higgins of San Jose, CA.

While we mourn his passing, we are grateful for the life he lived and the music he gave to the world. May we find comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his parents, Barbara and Robert, and may his memory continue to bring peace and inspiration.

A Celebration of Life will be held in 2026, with details to be shared at a later time.
