Dave Gibson

Dave Gibson, 85, of Somersworth NH, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, with his family by his side. Born April 11, 1940, Dave was defined by his warmth and social spirit; he was quick to make new friends and was affectionately nicknamed "The Mayor" by his neighborhood community.

While Dave was an active retiree—serving as a dedicated docent and volunteer for the Woodman Museum in Dover and the Gundalow Company in Portsmouth—his greatest devotion was to his family. To Dave, spending time with those he loved was the most important part of life.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Paige Gibson. David is also survived by his brother Doug Gibson and his wife Pat, his daughter Lisa Antonucci and her husband David, his son Mark Gibson and his wife Wendy. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Victoria Antonucci, Joshua Antonucci, Laurel Gibson-Ramos and her husband Jairo, and Reed Gibson.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory may be made to the Woodman Museum or the Gundalow Company, honoring his passion for community and education.
