David W. Eastwick, Sr.

David W. Eastwick, Sr., age 84, a lifelong resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Friday, February 13, 2026 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

David was born in Quincy, to the late Thomas and Jane (McCullough) Eastwick. He was raised and educated there. He later earned a Bachelor's degree from the Wentworth Institute.

David was employed as an engineer working in machine design for the Gillette Company for thirty-five years, and had been retired for many years. Following his retirement, he worked in property management.

He was a hard-working man who was devoted to his family.

Beloved husband for sixty-seven years of Frances C. (Pantano) Eastwick.

Devoted father of David W. Eastwick, Jr. and his wife Ruth of Hingham, Patricia A. "Patti" Svoleantopoulos and her husband Christos of Nashua, N.H., William M. Eastwick of Middleborough, and Michael J. Eastwick, Q.F.D. of Abington.

Loving grandfather of Michelle and Amylee Eastwick; Kasey Tappa; William Eastwick, Jr., Q.F.D. and his wife Sherri, and Laura Eastwick.

Cherished great grandfather of Charles, Hailey, David, and Grayson; Shawn; and Cole.

Much-loved great-great grandfather of Emma.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Tuesday, February 17, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
