David Shawn Ebert

David Shawn Ebert, 66, of Northampton, has joined his Lord and predeceased loved ones on Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Northampton.

Born in Allentown on March 17, 1960, Dave was the youngest son of the late Kathleen and Raymond Ebert, brother to James, Paul, Daryl, and the late John Ebert. He was the beloved father to Jamie Ebert, grandfather to Nori Rogers, and stepfather to Elizabeth Wolfer, Kayla Wolfer and fiancé Mark Saraceno and step grandchildren Miley and Marky Jr., Katie and Kyle Dougherty and his step grandchildren are Kane, Kole, and Khloe.

Dave grew up in Coplay and graduated from Whitehall High School in 1978. He grew up with a love of creativity and problem solving. He enjoyed painting, fixing cars and became an electrician after high school. His warmth, kindness, and commitment to hard work in support of community made him beloved by his family, friends, and all who met him. He was a lifetime member of Trinity UCC until its closing in 2017.

Spending time with his daughter outside, creating art, appreciating live music, movies, and visiting yard sales were some of the most special experiences. He was devoted to his family, his late fiancé, Lisa Wolfer, and in his later years, enjoyed outdoor time by the river and yard sales with his long time partner Patty Bodner.

He will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
