David Englund

ENGLUND David, Age 62 of St. Paul, passed away on November 7, 2025. He was born on December 14, 1962, in St. Paul, MN, to Lorraine (Purvis) Englund and Carl Englund. Dave graduated from St. Paul Technical College in machine tool processing, tool and die making, and machine tool programming. He worked at several manufacturing companies, including Waterous Co. in South St. Paul, machining fire hydrant parts. He later was self-employed in the pallet racking business. Dave enjoyed the restoration of old cars both inside and out, small engine repair, and anything mechanical. He liked the idea of salvaging old or discarded things so he could fix them up and recycle them. He loved a bargain and kept an eye out for online auctions for something he may need someday. He was very thrifty. Dave enjoyed talking with friends and neighbors and was always willing to help others when in a bind. He loved nature, especially animals, and had a good sense of humor.

Dave is survived by his two sisters, Susan Campbell (CA) and Diane Englund (Gerald Cucci), and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine (Purvis) Englund and Carl Englund, and all his aunts and uncles. A celebration of Dave's life will be held on January 11, 2026 1:00 - 3:00 at his home. Dave will be deeply missed.
