David Frase

David "Dave" J. Frase, 62, a native of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2025, at his home in Pegram, Tennessee.

Dave graduated from Hillsboro High School as part of the Class of 1982 and went on to attend Tennessee Tech before earning his degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. His professional career spanned many years in aircraft maintenance and various roles in the construction industry, particularly in the low voltage and communications sector.

Known for his kind and fun-loving nature, Dave’s spirit embodied Nashville. He loved for the city’s music scene and cherished spending time with his many friends fostering a good time for all. An accomplished bike racer and mechanic, Dave’s passion for cycling was matched by his enthusiasm for golf, fishing, boating, and raising Koi at his home in Pegram.

Dave is survived by his brothers Charles (Terry) and Gerrit (Janice), as well as his nephew Conor.

A Celebration of Life Gathering in honor of Dave will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sevier Park’s Picnic Shelter #2, located at 3000 Granny White Pike near 12th Avenue South in Nashville.

The family kindly requests donations be made in Dave’s name to The Ark Community Resource Center in Pegram. Contributions can be sent via Venmo to @arkcommunityresourcecenter.
