David Geiger

David Charles "Dave" Geiger, 79, of Fruitland, Idaho passed away on February 25, 2025, at the Veterans Hospital in Seattle. Born on December 28, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dave lived a life defined by service and deep-rooted connections.

A 1965 graduate of Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Minnesota, Dave soon enlisted in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era. His military service was a source of great pride and shaped much of his life. He faced ongoing health challenges due to exposure to Agent Orange but remained resolute in honoring his time in uniform.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Donald W. Geiger. His 99 year old mother, Patricia Albertson of Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota, succeeded him in death.

He is survived by his beloved lifelong partner and best friend, Cindy Geiger of Fruitland, Idaho; his cherished daughter, Shelby Flores of Bonney Lake, Washington; and grandchildren Farah and Sabashdian Flores. Dave also leaves behind his siblings: Patrick Geiger of Houston, Texas; Michael Geiger of Medellín, Colombia; Susan Christensen of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Tom Geiger of Bayport, Minnesota; and Annette Geiger of Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico.

David will be remembered for his quiet strength and unwavering loyalty. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life lived with courage and dedication.
