David Ernest Hopple

David Ernest Hopple, 83 of Harrisburg PA, was born on January 7, 1943 in Mechanicsburg PA, to Roy M. & Helen M. Hopple, and died at his home on March 5, 2026. He graduated from Mechanicsburg High School, and served 4 years in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class, and devoted more than 40 years as a remodler / contractor.
He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years Durinda L. Hopple, and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Tammy Parson (Tim) of Harrisburg, son Todd Hopple (Angie) of Churchville VA, son Steven Hopple (Tabitha) of Lusby MD, daughter Penelope Lownes (Jeff) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Dave, loved hiking, fishing, camping, spending time with family and friends and taking long country drives. He will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held on March 21, 2026 at 10:00 am, at Life Point Church, 7733 Hillcrest Avenue, Harrisburg PA 17112. Interment will be done at a later date for immediate family.
