David Powell Jeffreys, 71, of Madison, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2026 after a brief illness.
David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Debbie) Jeffreys, his sons Geoff Jeffreys (Blair) and Nick Jeffreys (Caitlan), and two grandsons, Silas and Indy Jeffreys. He is also survived by his sister, Jeri Mauldin and brother-in-law William (Bill) Mauldin; his sister-in-law Lisa Champlin and brother-in-law Pat Champlin; his aunt, Jean Pollard, and his uncle, Floyd Rumage; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. David was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Jeffreys, and his father, E. Geoffrey Jeffreys.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, MS, and all the friends and family that visited and offered and gave support during the past few months. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
