David "Waldo" Liberatore, 63, passed away on January 2, 2026, in Blacklick, Ohio. Born on September 15, 1962, in Elmira, New York, the son of the late Frank R. and Joyce Eddy Liberatore. He was preceeded in death by siblings Edward Liberatore and Susan Liberatore.
David is survived by his loving wife Mary Ahle Liberatore, sons and daughter-in-law , Cristopher Liberatore, Michael and Anna Liberatore, brother and sister-in-law Philip and Jackie Liberatore.
David loved being Papaw Dude to granddaughter Shirley Elizabeth, grandson Michael Robert, Jr, and was anticipating the birth of granddaughter Amiyah Lynn. They brought David such joy and their close relationship was evident.
For years, David was a cherished presence at the Leipzig Haus. More than just a favorite hangout, it became a place where his friends became his extended family. An avid fan of Ohio State University football, David's enthusiasm for the Buckeyes was unmatched.
David will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. David loved many and that love was returned.
A memorial service will be scheduled for the spring.
