David Anthony Meyer, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Glide, Oregon, on April 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. His passing marked the end of a courageous battle with lymphoma.

Born on May 24, 1941, David lived a full and vibrant life. He shared over 61 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Delores. Their bond was admired by many who often remarked on what a "cute couple" they were. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

David was the proud father of two daughters, Melissa Miguelena and Lisa McDonald. His family brought him immense joy and were a source of great pride throughout his life.

A man of simple pleasures, David had a deep appreciation for good food—especially desserts—and found joy in country music. He loved spending time outdoors working in the yard and took great pleasure in connecting with people around Roseburg. His friendly nature and warm spirit left an impression on everyone he met.
