David R. White, III, 90, husband of the late Joan M. (Collins) White, Collegeville, PA, died Monday, January 5, 2026, at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, E. Norriton, PA.
David was born on August 31, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late David R., Jr. and Blanche (Zajkowski) White. He served with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Before retiring, David was a superintendent in the gas works division of the Philadelphia Electric Co., Conshohocken, PA.
David was a member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He also loved golf and going to his cabin in Potter County.
David is survived by his children, Richard, husband of Lis (Flynn) White, Allentown, PA, David, IV, husband of Patricia (Kerwood) White, Conshohocken, PA, Deborah White, Oreland, PA, and Dennis White, Nolensville, TN; his grandchildren, Lydia (White), wife of Michael Otterbein, and Brian, husband of Ally (Schneider) White; his great-grandchildren, Bennett Otterbein and Nora Otterbein; and his sister, Patricia (White), wife of the late Larry Pingue.
David's Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 10th, at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, at church. Burial will be private in Washington's Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Eleanor Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe, PA.
