David leaves a wife, Robin, in Albuquerque and a sister, Pat, who lives in England. He emmigrated to the USA in 1998 after a epistolary romance with Robin. David died after a short illness, leaving life the same way he lived it, in his "own way." His deep and abiding interests were literature (especially Proust, Dickens, Austen, Tolstoy and many more), music (especially Wagner, the Beatles, Bach, Beethoven, the rolling Stones, and many more), target shooting, New Mexican cuisine, and his many on-line friends. He was educated at Wadham College, Oxford. His personal library includes novels, history, biographies, mathematics and physics books, and more. He loved walking the dog, playing bridge, writing literary criticisms, reading (obviously) and surfing Youtube (his secret and guilty pleasure was Russian Car Crashes).
