Deborah Sue Clemens (Strauss)

Deb Clemens of Hobart, Indiana passed away with her precious dog, Tink, on Friday, March 13, 2026 at the age of 67. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 13, 1958 to Bill and Sharon (deceased) Strauss and was the wife of the late Daniel Bruce Clemens for 33 wonderful years.
Deb moved to Northwest Indiana in 1978 and met her future husband, Dan, at a party in the mid 80's. They were married in 1989 and settled in Hobart where Deb remained until December 2025.
She worked at Inland Steel Credit Union and various mortgage companies in the region. Her greatest passion was caring for animals and she worked for Creature Comforts Pet Sitting.
In addition to her mother and husband Deb was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra.
She is survived by her father, Bill (Kathy) Strauss, sister-in-law Carol (Larry) Radice, and brother-in-laws Don Clemens, Jeff (Lynn) Clemens, and Tom (Cindy) Clemens.
Per her wishes Deb will be cremated and her ashes will be sent to her father, Bill. There will be no service.
